The Evening Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role during evening operations, ensuring smooth store functionality, exceptional customer service, and team support. This individual is responsible for managing staff, overseeing order fulfillment, and assisting with closing procedures while maintaining the high standards of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise evening staff and provide direction to ensure productivity and quality.

• Oversee customer service, resolving any issues with professionalism and care.

• Assist in daily floral arrangement production and custom order preparations.

• Ensure store cleanliness, restocking, and visual merchandising standards.

• Handle end-of-day cash register reconciliation and secure store closing.

• Maintain awareness of inventory needs and communicate supply shortages.

• Support team training and reinforce company policies and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with morning/day team for seamless shift transitions.

• Uphold health and safety standards for fresh product handling.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in floral, boutique, or hospitality environments.

• Prior supervisory or shift lead experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with seasonal demand changes.

• Passion for flowers, design, or event work a plus (floral experience not required but welcomed).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (flower buckets, inventory boxes).

• Comfortable working in cooler environments (flower fridge).

Pay

• Pay will start out at $12.00/hour but will increase incrementally up to $16.00/hour once mastery of training process is demonstrated.
